Hatchlings: 20-gallon tank.
Adults: 40-gallon tank minimum or Ball python rack system.

Substrate: Aspen, coconut husk, or reptile-safe bedding for burrowing recommended to use coconut husk. 

Hides: At least two (one on the warm side, one on the cool side).

Humidity: 65-70% (higher during shedding).

Lighting: Heat mat or ceramic heat emitter, No UVB required.

Temperature:
Warm side: 88-92°F (31-33°C).
Cool side: 75-80°F (24-27°C).
Night drop: No lower than 72°F (22°C).

Diet:
Food: Appropriately sized rodents (rats or mice).
